The Institute has its Registered Office in Mumbai, and Branches at Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Kochi, Kolkata (with a Chapter at Patna), Mumbai (with a Chapter at Navi Mumbai and Gujarat), Pune and Visakhapatnam (with a Chapter at Hyderabad). A plot of land in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, was taken on lease from CIDCO in May 1993 and the Headquarters Building constructed on it. This was achieved purely through contributions of the members and donations from well-wishers, without taking any assistance from the Government or Financial Institutions. This Headquarters Building, named “IMEI House”, was then inaugurated by His Excellency, Dr. P.C. Alexander, Governor of Maharashtra, in September 1999.
