REGISTRATION OF OVERSEAS MEMBERS

Members of the Institute of Marine Engineers (India) residing abroad, be given the option to give their address at a location abroad instead of an Indian address as is required at present. Copies of the MER(I) will be mailed to them at an additional cost to cover the cost of postage as applicable.

Such members will be considered to be attached to the Mumbai Branch for administrative purposes.

Please note that existing members who wish to utilise this facility will have to write to the Institute to amend their records accordingly. As some members who may wish to avail of this facility may not receive this copy of MER(I), all members who read this Announcement are requested to convey the same to any fellow member who is presently residing abroad with whom they are in touch, and who they think may wish to take advantage of this facility.
