The Institute of Marine Engineers (India) is thrilled to announce a special initiative to commemorate the 75th Year of Directorate General of Shipping’s dedicated service to the maritime community.
The Institute would like to publish, in collaboration with channel partners, an anthology of seafarer stories by creating opportunities for individual seafarers to become authors, the Institute not only helps preserve personal legacies but also inspires new readers across the globe to explore diverse lifestyles and motivate young Indians to join the mercantile marine.
An Anthology of Seafarers’ Stories — a tribute to the lives, journeys, and voices of those who sail the seas.
We invite mariners and seafarers —past and present—to share their personal narratives, reflections, and experiences from life at sea. Whether it’s a tale of resilience, camaraderie, solitude, or adventure, your story deserves to be heard and celebrated.
